On Saturday evening, 6 February 2027, sports organisation Le Champion will organise the 6th edition of the Zandvoort Light Walk. We are very much looking forward to transforming Zandvoort into a wonderland of lights for one evening. We offer participants an unforgettable evening walk and are therefore organising all kinds of surprising light artworks and acts at numerous locations.

Everything for an unforgettable evening
We would like to ask you to make the passage through Zandvoort unforgettable for the participants. At the start of the Zandvoort Light Walk, it is already completely dark. It would be wonderful if you would put up atmospheric lighting at your house or in your street and leave your Christmas decorations up longer, to make the route even more atmospheric and impressive.

The walkers could, of course, also use some encouragement. This will all contribute to an unforgettable walking tour through your street and village. If you plan to use open fire, please take the wind speed and wind direction into account for the safety of the walkers.

Accessibility
Naturally, the Zandvoort Light Walk also has consequences for the accessibility of the residents' streets. As an organisation, we do everything we can to keep the inconvenience to a minimum. The walkers are asked to walk on the pavement. Together, we will ensure it becomes a great celebration for both the residents and the participants! 
 
The event consists of four different distances: the 10, 14 and 18 km, and the Family Walk of 6.5 km. All participants start at the Louis Davids Carré. The finish line for all participants is at the Kleine Krocht, in the heart of Zandvoort.
